Nevada Career Institute Graduates Largest Class to Date at Spring Commencement Ceremony
Event Highlights NCI’s Continued Commitment to Excellence in Education
LAS VEGAS, Nevada—Following many months of rigorous career training, 77 graduates crossed the stage at Nevada Career Institute’s (NCI) Spring Commencement Ceremony on May 31, officially joining the ranks of NCI alumni. Family members, friends, Instructors, and Team Members formed an audience more than 650 strong to celebrate this milestone moment for these individuals.
“It is truly an honor to celebrate these graduates,” President Mitchell Fuerst shared. “They have put in tremendous effort to reach this achievement, many of them making significant sacrifices to reach their career goals—and we are proud to call them NCI graduates!”
This record-breaking commencement represented many of Nevada Career Institute’s programs, including Medical Assistant, Medical Insurance Biller & Coder, Surgical Technologist, Dental Assistant, and Business Office Administration. As part of their training, students participated in a blend of in-class instruction and hands-on training—a hallmark approach from NCI that prepares them to hit the ground running in the World of Work.
In addition to hearing from Roy Goines, Regional Director of Education, and Mary Ann Jefferson, NCI Campus Director, attendees of the event were surprised with a special video message from Steven Horsford, U.S. Congressman representing the 4th District of Nevada. He offered his congratulations to each of the graduates and encouraged them to contribute their newfound knowledge and skills to better their communities.
“Every Commencement reinforces our Core Purpose here at Nevada Career Institute,” President Fuerst explained. “We know that every cap and gown represents a life changed by the power of quality career education—and we can’t wait to see the positive impact these graduates will have on the world around them.”
