Commencement Information

Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

Commencement is a rite of passage for our graduates and a time to celebrate our students' academic accomplishments with their fellow classmates, family and friends.

We hold two Commencement Ceremonies each year: one in Spring and one in Fall.

Fall 2024 Commencement

We will be celebrating the success of our spring graduates on Friday, October 18, at the Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino.

GRADUATE ARRIVAL & ATTIRE INFORMATION

Commencement Ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m.
Graduates should arrive at 4:30 PM; Graduates are required to check-in at the registration table before 5:00 PM.
The registration table will be located downstairs in the Feast Buffet area, near the escalators.
Please arrive already dressed in your cap and gown; you must be dressed in your cap and gown to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Please wear professional/business attire, including shoes, under your gown. No jeans will be permitted.
Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a shirt and tie.
Ladies are encouraged to wear shoes that will enable them to safely and quickly walk up and down stairs.
We recommend all graduates wear comfortable shoes as you will be required to stand for a long period of time.
There will not be a secured area to leave personal belongings.
No food or beverage allowed inside the auditorium.
DO NOT BE LATE -- The Ceremony will start promptly at 6:00 PM

General Information

Commencement Ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m.
Ballroom doors will open and Guest Seating will begin one hour before the ceremony (5:00 p.m.).
Auditorium doors will close 15 minutes before the ceremony begins (6:45 p.m.) to clear the lobby and aisles to prepare for the academic procession (graduates and faculty marching in). The doors will reopen after the processional, national anthem and invocation (approximately 20-30 minutes).
Late arriving guests will be seated immediately following the invocation.
A ticket is required for entry for all guests (including children of all ages)
No balloons, tripods, strollers or bright camera lights permitted in the auditorium.
Aisles and front of stage must be kept clear at all times during the ceremony.

Commencement Day

Graduate check in begins at 4:30 p.m.
Graduates are required to check-in at the registration desk no later than 5:00 p.m.
Please arrive already dressed in your cap and gown.

Ticket Information

Each graduate will receive 4 (four) guests tickets as part of their Graduation Registration package.
Additional tickets will be available for purchase on a first come, first-serve basis beginning on Monday, October 7.
Tickets are non-refundable.
All tickets must be paid for and picked up before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18.
Tickets will not be made available for pick-up on the day of the event.
